Surf Adda is a free directory and community layer for surfing in India. By using it you agree to these terms.

The ocean is not our product

Surfing is dangerous. Forecasts, ratings, hazard notes, and check-ins on this site are information, not advice — they can be wrong, stale, or incomplete, and conditions change by the hour. You alone are responsible for judging whether to paddle out. Never rely on this site as your only safety check.

Surf schools are independent businesses

School pages exist to help you find and contact them directly. We don't operate, endorse, or take responsibility for any school's services, pricing, or safety practices — your arrangement is entirely between you and them.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting a check-in, note, photo, or rating you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on Surf Adda, attributed to your account name. Don't post content that is illegal, abusive, infringing, or unrelated to surfing — we can remove content and accounts that break this, and the community can report it.

Fair use of the platform

No scraping at scale, no fake check-ins or manipulated ratings, no impersonation, no attempting to break the service. The check-in rate cap and report system exist to keep the live layer honest.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is, free of charge, with no warranty of availability or accuracy. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability to you is zero rupees — matching what you paid.

Changes

We'll update these terms as the product grows; the "updated" date above tells you when. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
