Founded by Mukesh, raised in the fishing community of Mahabalipuram and a former diving instructor — he started Mumu as the first surf shop near Chennai. An ISA-qualified instructor with a surf-rescue licence, PADI Divemaster and rescue diver, he now runs the school with his wife Anna on Mahabalipuram's main beach, with a second base at Agonda in South Goa. Lessons for every level, all gear provided, and the Sandy Bottom Café next door for after.
